Design and creative industry, it is a way to develop people's creativity and inspiration, and also a close relationship is built between the design and the lives of people.
This is a precious year as it is the 10 th Anniversary of The Society of Professional Designers. We have been working persistently on promoting design and to provide continuous support to our fellow members all over the world and the public.
I am grateful to have all of your support in the past. Here again, I would like to offer my heartfelt thanks to all of your continuous support to the SPD. We strive to do our best, with our mission and faith, to further support designers, so as to fulfill their dreams of being a perfect designer.

Mr. Duncan C. C. Choi

Asia-Pacific Chairman of SPD

Biography :

Mr. Duncan Choi is a well-known designer, educationist and author. He is a Hong Kong resident.

He currently acts as the Asia-Pacific Chairman of the Society, the chief judge of¡¸Super Design Awards ¡¹, the president of Hong Kong Institute of Fashion Design and Hon. Guest Professor of Guangzhou University .

Mr. Choi's academic qualifications include Bachelor of Economics and Bachelor of Law (Honors) from the Taiwan Chung Hua College of Arts and Law. He also graduated from the Hong Kong Technical College (now Hong Kong Polytechnic University) Department of Design and Hong Kong Academy of Fine Arts. He also undertook further design studies in Tokyo , Paris and Sydney.

Mr. Choi formed the first institution to offer design education in the Southeast Asian, with more than 20,000 graduates coming from all over the world, which has been widely acclaimed as one of the best private design institutes in the region. He has acted as judge for international design contest 23 times. He is also often being invited to Australia , Malaysia , Indonesia , Taiwan and China to make ¡°Design. Trend. Market. Sales. Management.¡± Presentations.

Recently Mr. Choi has expanded its institution to cities in China , such as Shanghai , Shenyang , Dongguan, Shenzhen and Changshu.

For his outstanding achievements in the field of Cultures, Arts, Design and Education, he has honoured by International Design Institutions Committee, elected ¡¸The New Century Outstanding Person¡¹ by China Outstanding People Reseach Society, and Elected ¡¸Honor of Celebrities of International Chinese¡¹ by International Culture and Arts Promotion Association.
